2020 BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan Launched In India; Gets A Switchable ABS & Dual-Tone Color Options

Royal Enfield has launched the BS6-compliant 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan in the Indian market at a price of INR 1.87 Lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Himalayan now gets a new dual-tone colour option, a switchable ABS, and other additions. The switchable ABS feature enables rear-wheel ABS control deactivation further enhancing the off-road capabilities of the Himalayan.[gallery size="full" ids="14529,14528,14527,14530"]Mechanically, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan is now powered by a BS6-compliant, 411 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled, fuel injection that makes 24.3 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque. The motor is offered with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. Other additions in the 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan include a hazard switch, enhanced brake mechanism and improved side-stand.
